Metal Toothed Gasket Introduction

2022-12-02
Metal tooth-shaped gasket is a kind of solid line metal gasket, which is generally produced and processed on the two sides of the metal flat gasket with a high-precision CNC lathe or a special CNC lathe to form a wave-shaped silver shape with a 90-degree intersection angle in the same boat. The pipe groove, because the contact with other sealing surfaces is the line contact of several inward states, it has a sealing function, and different metal materials can be selected according to different materials and working conditions. In most cases, toothed gaskets can be used in combination with other non-metallic materials to achieve a better sealing effect. The gasket can be composed according to the metal tooth shape. If the sealing layer is not covered and used directly, a good sealing effect can also be achieved, but it is easy to damage the surface of the flange in a high-pressure environment. Therefore, it is generally stipulated that the roughness of the sealing surface should be above Ra1.6um.
Special working conditions, such as extremely high temperature, are so strong that we can produce metal-shaped sheets of special materials. The following special materials can be specified: stainless steel 304L321 31671309, 347.410, duplex steel (205, 31803), Monel MONEL (400), Kezhen INCONEL (600,625), INCOLOY (800, 825), HASTELO (B2, 276), Da (2) and other special stainless steel plate or alloy] products.
Metal Toothed Gasket Features:
1. Relatively high pre-tightening force, even in the environment with high pressure, it has good sealing effect, especially in the place where it is suitable for high temperature, high pressure, and the working conditions change alternately. An ideal substitute for Jinyu coated gaskets.

2 The pure metal toothed gasket is easy to damage the flange surface, so the flange sealing surface should be processed when replacing the gasket.
